I listen carefully to understand your needs, your goals and your current level.
Whether you’re learning for daily life, work, a move to France or an exam, each lesson is built around what truly matters to you.
For me, French should be learned through real situations. Grammar is always connected to use, so you can apply what you learn straight away and feel confident outside the classroom.
To help you keep progressing between sessions, you receive personalised notes and access to a private learning space where you can review and practise at your own pace.

Hi! I’m Inès, your (future) French teacher based in the Basque Country 🙂
I’ve been teaching for several years, helping people feel more confident and comfortable speaking French in everyday life.
My students appreciate my patience and the way I explain things clearly. I always encourage you to speak, even at a beginner level. Progress happens little by little.
At the same time, grammar matters to me, always to support clearer, more natural communication.
Outside of lessons, I love watching sunsets by the ocean, running, or dancing. I read a lot, I’m curious about what’s happening in France and around the world, and I truly enjoy discovering different cultures and exchanging ideas. Maybe we’ll discover common interests to explore in class.

« I did a two-week immersion class with Inès this summer, following the two previous summers where I did a two-week course at two different schools. The difference is night and day! For essentially the same price, the immersion course with Inès is like private lessons all day, every day! There are just as many activities – if not more – and the food and lodging are infinitely better!
Inès and Charles are very kind, easy-going people, and it was a real pleasure to spend time with them for two weeks.
Inès planned her lessons carefully to work on the things that I needed help with – the course was completely customized just for me. (I certainly didn’t find that in the two schools I attended!) Furthermore, the activities were chosen just for me, according to my interests. I really couldn’t ask for anything more from a course. And yes, I liked it so much, I absolutely do intend to return to Biarritz to take another course from her!
So, if you’re debating between a school and a personalized immersion course, the answer is crystal clear – if you choose her course, you won’t regret it. Your comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar will improve tenfold, compared to an “immersion school” where you’re just one of many students, going over the same, pre-packaged lessons. And if you’re shy or somewhat embarrassed to speak French (like me), you will not see the amount of improvement there that you would get from Inès in this very personalized setting. « I spent just over 3 months in Anglet and had weekly in-person lessons with Inés. She is fantastic. I had learned French in school but hadn’t spoken it in 10 years. I was delighted with how much I improved during my time there and have decided to continue my lessons online. Inés is a really organised and prepared teacher but also very easygoing and adaptable to your preferences, always communicating clearly. She helped me to feel at ease and not to worry too much about making mistakes. The focus of our lessons was very much speaking as much as possible, but still covering some grammar, particularly in exercises she would give me to complete before the next lesson. However, she would always check in to see what I would like to improve or cover in these and the next lesson and there was never any pressure or judgment if I had forgotten or not had the time to complete the exercises. By the end of my time in France I could get through daily interactions with ease and even hold one-on-one conversations. Overall I would absolutely recommend Inés. Wonderful person and teacher, and great value for money! »
